Accessibility Statement

Effective November 2, 2026

We want everyone to be able to use SD Active. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

What we do

• Semantic headings, landmarks and a skip link to the main content.
• Full keyboard operation with visible focus indicators.
• Strong color contrast in both light and dark mode, and layouts that reflow on small screens and large text without hiding content.
• Labeled form fields and status messages announced to screen readers.
• Animations that turn off when your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limits

Event details and photos come from third-party calendars, and linked pages (UCSD, GroupMe, Google sign-in) are outside our control. Event photos have empty alt text because they are decorative.

Feedback

If you hit a barrier, email hello@sdactive.org. We will respond and try to fix it quickly.
