By using sdactive.org you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Independent community

SD Active is an independent student-run project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Regents of the University of California or UC San Diego. UCSD names and marks belong to their owners.

2. Free to use

Membership and the events list are free. We may change or stop any part of the service at any time.

3. Event information

Events are gathered from public third-party calendars. We do not organize, host or control them and do not guarantee that listings are accurate, complete or current. Attend at your own risk and confirm details with the organizer.

4. Your conduct

Be respectful. Don't break the law, harass others, try to disrupt or break into the site, scrape it at a harmful rate, or misrepresent who you are. We may remove access or content at our discretion. Conduct in GroupMe is also governed by GroupMe's terms.

5. UCSD sign-in

Joining the GroupMe requires signing in with a Google account on the ucsd.edu domain. That is not an official UCSD credential and does not confirm current enrollment. We may remove anyone from the group at our discretion.

6. Third-party links

Links to GroupMe, Google, UCSD and others are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SD Active and its organizers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of the site or attendance at any event. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify SD Active and its organizers against claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.

11. Changes and contact
